Cruise Passengers Movements November 2010

News Release

11 December 2010

The total of cruise passenger movements since the beginning of this year exceeded the total handled in 2009.

Despite a decrease in passenger numbers in November 2010 compared to November 2009, attributed to the cancellations of three calls, the total passenger movements since January is 466,684, compared to 419,200 (or an increase of 11.33 %) during the same period in 2009 and 439,285 for the full year 2009. The total number of passenger movements in November 2010 stood at 48,578 compared to 52,133.

Three vessels cancelled their calls: the MV Delphin Voyager, the MV Zenith and the MV Silver Cloud. There was one additional call by the MV Grand Voyager in November.

There were two maiden calls in November, the Saga Pearl and the Queen Elisabeth, which called in Malta on its maiden world cruise.

November was a milestone month for VISET Malta plc, with the signing of a five year agreement with MSC Cruises.
