Hard Rock Café Malta announces the completion of its signature Breast Cancer Awareness yearly initiative. The campaign features a collaboration with the ‘Action for Breast Cancer Foundation’.

Hard Rock Cafe is an entertainment and leisure company that continues to successfully expand, through myriad music-related ventures but puts charity and philanthropy top item in their everyday agenda.

The month-long PINKTOBER campaign is an initiative created to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. It features limited-edition products, as well as some fundraising events at Hard Rock establishments.

Every Hard Rock outlet is committed to give back to the community. Hard Rock staff makes it a priority to become a valuable community partner as a Hard Rock Ambassador.

“This year PINKTOBER gave us greater satisfactions, we have raised a stunning sum of €2,780. This was raised during the Walk For Life 3 which was held late September and in today’s fund raising event. Certain that these funds will give comfort to those that need.” said Adolf Vella, Hard Rock Café’s Sales and Marketing Manager.

Hard Rock Café Malta held a final fund raising event where over 135 patrons filled their Café in St. Julian`s for a Pasta Buffet Night, while entertained with an acoustic set by MOJO.

The cheque was presented to the foundation chairperson Mrs Helen Muscat and Mrs Esther Sant by Adolf Vella for Hard Rock Café Malta. During the presentation, Mrs Muscat thanked Hard Rock Café for the fantastic donation and for their continuous support year after year. Action for Breast Cancer Foundation would like to thank and appreciate Hard Rock staff for their dedication and service with a smile.

PINKTOBER 2012 was supported by Saint James Hospital, San Michael Table Water, La Torre Wine from Marsovin.
